Obviously this is self explanatory BUT yes I have won an award for my wedding photography and I am super proud of it and I want to share it with everyone!
After 4 years of hard work on my business I was delighted to be a finalist for the Muddy Stilettos, Kent's Best Photographer awards. I had a lot of support to get me there and I am so thankful for everyone who voted for me. Sadly I did not win but to be a finalist in the first ever awards I was nominated for made me feel great and gave me such a confidence boost. Thank you Muddy Stilettos. Fingers crossed for next year!
Now on to the award I won....I can proudly call myself Global Wedding Awards Wedding Photographer of the Year 2018-Tunbridge Wells. This award came as I huge shock to me and I still do not know who nominated me. So if you happen to read this and it was you, then thank you so much! I was asked to fill in a questionnaire about myself and my business which was sent off to a panel of judges along with my work and I was later announced as the winner! YAY!
I have put everything into my business and it really means a lot to me that someone has taken the time to nominate me. It's a tough old life being a self-employed photographer with a lot of competition around but I am beyond excited and chuffed to have won this award. Pat on the back for me and a big big thank you to whoever nominated me and also a huge thank you to Lux Life Magazine who run the awards. It really is the best type of motivation and confidence boost you can get!
